He saddles/rides off gentle every single time, is solid in all reining maneuvers, easy to change leads, and doesn’t require a complex “user manual” to operate. In September, he babysat kids (3 year old & a 7 year old) at a busy ranch horse show, then earlier this month, Bar MB Ranch swung aboard to win the Novice Trail with a 73, place 2nd in Ranch Rail, Ranch Pleasure, and Reining, and finish just a few points shy of the Novice Horse High Point among a dense field of competition!
When the showing wrapped, he quietly transitioned right back to babysitter duty — safely packing kids around all afternoon without missing a beat.
Gunner has been started in the box on the heel side, has been used to drag calves to the fire, and also packs a solid start in the breakaway.
